Transalp v AT is definitely going to depend on the type of riding you want to do. Both are great bikes. For me, 2-up touring was a priority which meant ATAS DCT and I have no regrets.......until someone asks me to do technical singletrack - which is way beyond my skillset on a 250kg adventure...

I suppose there's some truth in this post. I think there are some really good pre-owned adventure bikes available sub-200k........and that's, I suppose, where the likes of Bikeshop Rivonia, etc are finding their niche - give me a good pre-owned bike with some sort of warranty for half the price...
