I made this jig to make the legs the same even though this braai might just end up standing and rusting, I just could not tack and bend to get the legs similar. They had to be varicose... and then they anyway pulled skew after I welded over the tack welds 🙈 Close enough, man. Flippit.

I actually did it. I also filmed the process. It might even be funny. Anyway, it was not as easy as I thought and the steel does not want to be welded at all. So definitely not getting more of these tanks. Anyway, here are the photos.

The other day I got stuck in traffic and noticed a few cars with brake lights not working, but I felt comfortable because I check my bakkie every morning and the wife's car just as often. Got home and decided to check the wife's car just in case... both brake light bulbs blown 🙈. Had to swallow...

Those diesels also have a proven track record with Nissan. I remember the Caddy and think that the Scenic is similar with the location of the ECU. At least, if no issues, it will just be checking to be sure. Maybe you might even be able to poke the drain from below the car somewhere to check...

The instructions of the Timbapreservative says you must dilute the first coat with 50% turps, but I did not. Even so, looks like it penetrated quite well. This was after an hour after first application. Then you must wait 48 hours before second application. I waited 24. And this morning, in...

Nice one @grizz ! I've always secretly wanted a French car and have looked at these to give to my wife as well. What engine does this one have? By the way, I know people will tell you these things are unreliable, but in all the research I did I could only find (on the petrol models at least)...

Dankie. Lyk my ek sal maar vir so iets gaan. Goedkoop genoeg om die hele ding te vervang as hy opgedra raak.

Actually, wait, stop. I see those cartridge type filters are much more at Chamberlains than Pienaar Bros.

@OomD , how is the fit of that mask? I see Pienaar Bros also sell filters and the insert type is much cheaper than the filters that goes with the 3M mask. Alternative for Chamberlains filters (I assume the same fitment) And these will go with the 3M mask. I probably shouldn't be cheaping...

Thanks. That might actually be my best option. And it looks like it is a large. The one in the store that I saw were all mediums. I guess my only other question would be where do I get spare filters for it?

The other day after sanding my balls, it felt like I might have inhaled a bit too much dust. I always wear a buff and face shield, but that obviously does not stop super fine dust, and I was sanding a lot, and all the way to 400 grit. So.... Which one of these do I get? I am thinking I need...
