Why didn’t you just get them to do the other side at the same time?

They are a proper 38 I would say, but by adjusting the straps on the sides they can be made to fit a 36 easily.

I checked that last night. The lever doesn’t touch anywhere when downshifting to first.

I will check the splined link thank you. It was serviced by ktm 1000km ago so oil should still be fresh.

Thanks, I will check that. The guy I bought it from was very tall and the gear lever was very low for my 1.75m frame. I’ve adjusted it up, but will have a look incase its catching somewhere.

Is the gearbox and engine oil the same?

I sometimes do, but other times I forget and use the clutch. How is your first gear selection @Noneking ? Why did you replace your clutch springs on your first 790?

Fitted my gutted, ceramic coated and Yoshi badged standard pipe as well as the decat pipe I got from @AdvGramps and now it has a nice deep rumble/growl and pops when up shifting 😎😎😎 It sounds so awesome i rode to the roadworthy station without earplugs😂😂 Oh and I can’t stop going in the garage...
