I'm eager to hear, please do tell. A few people are actually installing the oil pressure spring from the LC8 motors to increase oil pressure and feed. Don't know if it will have any adverse effects on the other engine components. The only thing that comes to mind is the weak oil pressure sensor...

The follower is actually more worn than the cam itself. Also to reiterate, that shim was very thin, was actually quite surprised. There is wear on the valve spring retainer too. Looking at the other exhaust shims it almost looks like it sits deeper than the actual retainers. Another theory a...

Update on my 2nd engine failure. A shim dislodged and made its way down the engine causing timing to skip on the intake cam. Valves hit holes in the pistons. Clutch and shifting mechanism with gears are perfectly fine. Crank is fine. Few gears toast where the shim bounced into. KTM is placing...

There is a company in the US, however it costs nearly R30k per cam. So definitely not feasible
