Me again...
Preparing for a trip around Lesotho next week and fitted my BMW Nav V with a Zumo 660 base within a Touratech bracket. Mechanical everything works fine.
The wiring I have taken directly to the battery but now GPS stays on (stupid of me ???). I have seen on a previous post that the 12V adaptor below the instrument cluster (behind the casing) can be used to power a GPS. My problem is that the ZUMO base comes with excessive cables (microphone, speaker, USB) and do not know what to do with all the cables if I power it up front?
Is there any open plugs near the battery as I have already routed all these cables to the battery? Would however not like to cut into the existing harnesses.
Any experience on this.....
