Been there with Straatkat week before you and it was just as wet - we even had a little bike drowning accident  :peepwall::

Man! Thats the dream.... Its nice going on a trip with the guys but to be able to share it with your family is epic.

I cannot believe how much water we rode through.

KarB....June is a good time to go....much drier...but sandier.

Still trying to finish my Xmas RR but hopefully I can do the Botswana asap.

It was an amazing experience to have done it with our daughter...she was so into it and loved every moment.
 
Just out of interest, when exactly did you stay in that Adventure Makgadikgadi camp? We were there on Monday 21/3 and we have seen bike tracks - they guys there told us that there were bikers night before. Just wondering if it was you.

We spent Sunday night 20 March at Makgadkgadi Camp on our way to Kubu Island. When we got back there on Tuesday Morning we were  told about these two bikes that came though  from the south after a hard ride on the pans. Fortunately John...owner of this camp ...had warned us about this route during one of our conversations. But well done.

Awesome video!! Really shows the conditions well.

We met you guys just as we got to the main road out of the pans, on our way to Nata.
Here's photo I took just after I gave your husband some patches to fix his puncture!

Great trip, hope your memories are just as unbelievable as ours.
