To seperate this from my High Horse thread - I'm trying to understand this bike more.  So any advice will be great.

So Far:

1. Smoother shift - pre-tension the gears before shift - works like a charm, thanx guys
2. Lights beam - pillion switch high/low setting - thanx Sidepod
3. Decent tubeless patch kit from 4x4 shop - will get one - thanx Jacko
4. Tyre pressure - normal commute 2.2 front/2.5 rear - bit harder 2 up, bit softer gravel.  What I think is since the bike is heavy at the front, and has a 19inch front wheel - rather keep the front around 2 bar for rocky gravel, rims will get a beating????
5. Got nearly 17km/l on my first tank - mixed riding - 140km/h highway commute and relevant speed up the Willian Nichol's of the world - moerse chaffed, expected around 15
6. Would appreciate a GSA lower seat, i'm slightly lower on the GSA as on my KLR, but am still only on the front of my feet.  Since the bike is heavier, would like to have more of my feet on the ground.  It may give me better wind protection behind the fairing too
7. Fairing - need the wind to go 2inches higher

??????  more tips and discussion????
