My beloved 40 000km old GSA has a very cluncky gearshift.
Now I know they are all like that blah blah blah
My previous GS was not nearly as loud as this one, had more than double the mileage.
None of my fiend's 1150 are this loud.
The other day badprop took my GS around the block, I could hear the slap/clunk probably 300m away. Its LOUD!!!!

I changed the oil, was slightly better, but still at least 200% louder than normal.

I have noticed that if I put a little tension on the shifter before shifting it shifts perfectly.
If I have to discribe the sound, its like when you shift from second to first at 40km/h without using clutch.  :eek7:

I would rather replace something now than replace the gearbox in 20 000km or less!

Any advice?
