Safe trip! At first I wanted to do a month trip and the 2nd 2 weeks would be North from Windhoek, through Caprivi strip to Vic fallls and home via Botswana.

Two nice pics there. It was an awesome day trip. The dirt road was mostly a breeze... except for the last 2 km or so. We went about 30 or 40 minutes into Lesotho and then turned around. Will do a full ride report in a few days time.

Hi Milesd You are more then welcome to join. Just be carefull entering into Lesotho from this border post, as there is no Lesotho side to book you in ... and might be a problem once you get to another border post. If time allows, and the road looks ridable, then we planning entering Lesotho...

This thread is over 2 years old .... any new geocachers around? I am one, and love doing it on the bike.

Thanks Mr Zog for the info. I read a ride report of some guys following the same road as you describe. We looked at it and considered it. But we both doing the passes are still new at the dirt riding ... so I'd rather error on the side of caution. If we perhaps had a slightly bigger group...
