I do not know if the 1190 differs from the 1290 but it is actually easy to fit the dongle. The dongle plugs into the plug they use to plug their computer in at a service. What a pleasure to have that dongle in. And it works 100%.

I agree with Bundu. Also had a 1200 super tenere and it was much heavier on fuel at all the speed ranges. Must say it is my first KTM that is normally one of the lightest on fuel at the pump on long trips. At average speed (160 km/h) I easily get above 15 - 16 km/l depending on the wind. No...

Best in its class. My 690 is still relatively new at 13000 km. No issues as yet. But I agree, there's no bike in its class that put a smile on your face like a 690 do.

The fuel average figures must be at 100 - 120 km/h. At a average between 160 and 180 I get about 14,5 km/l on the 1290 which I think is not to bad. For its size it is very capable offroad machine.
