Indeed it will! This is the last year this model was made (before the 1150 was launched) and the gearbox issue on an earlier model had been sorted. When we replaced gearbox and F/D oil earlier this year, none showed any signs of issues. It really is in excellent condition mechanically.

Definitely more so than the previous one! That one just proved that these bikes are indestructible. The owner after me sold it with more than 200 000kms on the clock! This one still has lots of life left in it.

Thanks, Welsh! Whoever buys this bike gets reliable transport for life. When Alf and I gave it a major service before our trip into Africa, we did not even need to adjust the valve clearances!
