    RIP Alexander Nel aka Camelman

Hey guys As Sean said. For now I will not be organizing any formal events. Regardless, my objective is still the same. Find and help riders get to Dakar, not financially but with training and races. And once there, finish. Still trying to create the perfect platform to get guys on the podium...

Adventure Class: West Coast Baja (18-20 March)

Sorry guys. No interest. Not even 1. Don't know if I should  ;D or  :'(. So I am deleting the product off the shop. Unless 10 guys enter before I get to delete it.  :lol8: Well, good news is probably that I get to recce less next week. So only racing classes for the 2017 West Coast Baja, and...

2017 West Coast Baja: The Race is ON!!!

Four weeks and one day to the 2017 West Coast Baja! The Rally Class shown in the image below will be styled on the 2016 Amageza Rallye routes. So longer than the other classes on the Baja, faster (read: less technical), flowing with good navigation! If you haven't entered yet, you should...

2017 West Coast Baja: The Race is ON!!!

Thanks for the offer! I do recommend though that you come do the Adventure class. It's not a race for this class. If you finish first or last, you still only get a finishers medal. In fact, you won't even be getting your time. Your objective is NOT to race, but to enjoy the spectacular terrain...

Adventure Class: West Coast Baja (18-20 March)

100km.. Bring your own metal jerry can if you want the Org to transport it. If you have a crew, then they can meet you at the refuel (DSP) and you can carry you fuel in whatever you have! Leftless went through that area once with me on his HP2. I was on a Tenere. No problem!

Adventure Class: West Coast Baja (18-20 March)

Hey guys After a good deal of lobbying from the petrol-heads over in the racing section , we have been able to add a 'Adventure' Class to the 2017 West Coast Baja. Their is a public holiday in the date range. The plan is to get to Port Nolloth on Friday. Race/ Ride Saturday,Sunday, Monday...

2017 West Coast Baja: The Race is ON!!!

Here you go! You will require some sand and rock riding skills. But we will not send you up a goat track nor sand-dune. You will not be racing but will only receive a finishers medal on completion of all three stages. You cannot ask for, nor will you be given your times. If you need to prove...

2017 West Coast Baja: The Race is ON!!!

Essentially there is no reason you cannot do the Baja 'Off-Road' class on a bigger bike. I rode extensively in that area with first a KTM 990 and then a Yamaha Tenere. So did the 2013 & 2014 Amageza competitors. Both bikes were fine. A lighter bike is just more nimble up rocks. If enough riders...

2017 West Coast Baja: The Race is ON!!!

There is such a class the 'Off-Road' class. Was called 'Lite' last year. You ride what you bring. You need 100km fuel range. You use whatever GPS you have. ( Note: as long as it has a USB interface via a mini-usb and can be browsed from Windows Explorer) You don't require a license, registration...

    Willem du Toit Dakar 2018

Willem. Maybe we get all the 2018 Dakar guys together. I can stitch together 14 days worth of Amageza routes (2011 - 2016). As there is likely no Amageza this year, we can work something. I am a firm believer that you need to ride for 12-14 days continually so you can know what you are going to...
