My question would be - If I travel in a straight line, on tar, on my 950, with solid discs ................... and grab a proper handful ................. will I go over the bars? If so, I see a use for ABS ............... floaters, not yet. Even when I pushed it, which was only ever off-road...

I think the same of the 950s ................... they don't have legend tax, but they deserve it. The last of the analogues ................... sells for the same price as a common 650. Price-wise, they don't look special at all.

If you look very closely, there's a dirt service road that runs down Van Reenans. From windy corner, under the highway, then down to the steel bridge area. Or the tunnel, if it's been raining. Been a long time, but, Ja, no need for tar roads outside of JHB.

Surely a 990 is a good bike to learn on ....................... after that he can progress onto one of those Yamaha jobbies you keep going on about .............. :cool:

I could feel a difference in power when I fitted a pre-filter to my 950, so took it back off. But then, I use the standard air filter ............ maybe you don't notice with yours. Maybe the EFI compensates? Can you feel a difference?
