Thanks for the responses guys. The reason I asked, was coz my Relay arm failed while out between Springbok and Kleinsee. I've got about 36k on the XT's clock. Anyway replacement parts on order and will replace swingarm bearings at the same time as Relay arm bearings and bushes.

Hi Subie out of interest, what was the reason for replacing the swingarm bearings and is there any mileage interval recommendations at which they must be changed. Should you do relay arm bearings at the same time?

It decided we need to take things much slower and spend some time sitting in the sun......but not before doing sand boarding :o
