I work with food grade stainless steel packaging and conveying machinery, to drill a hole is all about technicque, we obviously prefer good grade drill bits, but even the best dont last if used incorrectly. Use a drilling oil, do NOT pre punch (you create a hard sport on the material)...

Drove over in my car last week Thursday, all good. There are some tight sections and cars tend to cut corners but luckily slowly, we'll worth it.
