From where I came from I'm ecstatic.
I expected it too be a bit smoother, the unpainted screed looked reasonable but it just shows you how important surface prep is before you paint.
So ended up levelling the floor using tylon self levelling screed, then polyurethane floor coating from Duram.
Looks ok, but the screed is too soft, I've already scratched the floor with the bike side stand. Will see if it gets harder over time.
Here's the new girl. I've only done about 250km's since I've got her which includes a weekend DP1 course. She only had 3000km's on the clock and was as new. That ding was me exciting the sand training pit incorrectly.
I need to buy her a few bits, and it's going to hurt. This is a possible...
Maybe I can chirp in as the most inexperienced rider in the group, the exercises and challenges is designed to test you not hurt you and at no stage did I feel in danger or pressurized by any one.
I thought it was a very competent group and if anything Judy did very well to adjust the training...
R22 000, 17500km, used as daily commuter to the Gautrain.
Some Minor scratches but mechanically in a good condition.
Almost new Anakees, rear rim has a small dent.
Just did a trip to Waterfall Boven.
Thanks everyone for the input, just bought a 2010 model with 3k kms on the clock, basically new. Should get it next week. There are a lot of tens for sale at the moment so its a buyers market.
Anyone interested in a xt600e?
