Man, just a bit outside my range. Trying to find something for ~R20,000 but I think times have changed. Seriously regret selling my 2011 KLR650 for under R20,000 in 2020 before I went travelling :(

I have just returned to Cape Town and want some wheels. I miss my KLR650, if I can get one of those for a similar price that could be a great option. Also open to suggestions. Even a scooter that could sit comfortably at 100kmph would do for now. I am likely to sell it on in 4 months time.

Updated listing. Decided for my own safety I needed new tyres and sprockets, and made a trade exchange with a very mechanically minded friend, with years of dirt and adventure biking experience. This also teaches me a thing or two, as I have been his apprentice in all this. R27,000 negotiable...

To summarize, asking price is R28k, given that I have replaced what I have promised in the original listing. Happy to consider offers of R15k + to take it as it comes. Price is negotiable and depends on the feedback I get.

In the meantime it has been in for another service (I will add details upon request). The behaviour mentioned in original post, which I suspected had something to do with fuel delivery, was actually an electrical fault to do with the side stand switch. That has been taken care of, no problems...
