I agree 100% and having just moved back to Gauteng the bad driving in KZN is even more obvious. Used to commute from Umhlanga to Toti daily and would be brake tested every single day. Eventually ended up moving to Toti to avoid the commute.

Good to see the 990 is back home in the Eastern Cape via Umhlanga and Gauteng. Fantastic bike and a load of fun in the year and a bit we had it!! Enjoy!!

I have a complete damper kit in good condition which came off my 530. Not sure however if it will fit your bike. Also have a Scott damper which came off a Yamaha without brackets. Pictures available in an earlier post.

I also had the problem in my RH "pinkie" finger and after about two years of trying medication, exercise, etc resorted to surgery and the finger has been fine since. Operation was fairly quick and I even went for a ride the same day I was discharged from the hospital!! Now have the same issue in...

My son has a steering damper he removed from a 2009 KTM450. Not sure if this will work for you and also not sure what he wants for it. Give him a call on 072four one seven 2560.

While the expanded metal floor is much lighter than a sheet metal one, just be aware that the expanded metal can cause havoc with the knobblies on the tyres. This from personal experience with the front tyres on my 450 and 530 KTMs when trailering on dirt roads!
