I won't mind to volunteer to go and work there as a "general helper" and then be able to experience the Dakar first hand! They must just supply you with food and somewhere to sleep, I will get there at my own expense and no salary is necessary. But I guess you will have to be able to speak...

If you stay on the tar its no problem, otherwise I hope your sand riding skills are good, lots of sand but definitely a trip one can do solo, just take tyre repair stuff and fill up where ever you can. :thumleft: Enjoy!!
