Hi everyone.
So I have a beautiful 2003 BMW 650gs Dakar that needs some work. Basic stuff - panel resprays, indicators, dash alignment etc.
I am in the Cape Town southern suburbs area and wanted to find some trustworthy BMW mechanics. I have no personal DIY experience so wanted to get it fixed...
Thanks for the info! I have been chatting with a guy in Pretoria selling a 2003 dakar single spark (the first dakar model) and he is willing for R27,000. Hoping that will work out so I can get out there!
I have tried contacting that guy since he posted the ad. I have come across so many scammers in the F650GS market...people running the "deposit R5,000 and we will courier the bike to you" scams.
Hence my post here. Hoping for honest okes!
Free bump. Beautiful bike...seems like there are few sales at the moment. Unless you are desperate to sell this is a good price for what i have seen floating around at the moment.
Howzit everyone!
Garrett here from Cape Town. I learned to ride in the sand of Zimbabwe a few years on a friend's Yamaha scrambler and I have been hooked ever since. I have been riding every friend's bike that would let me! Just picked up my learners last month and am looking at buying a F650GS...
Greetings everyone! :ricky:
My name is Garrett and I hail from Cape Town. I learned to ride in Zimbabwe a few years ago on a Yamaha scrambler. Never had so much fun sliding through the sand! Just picked up my learners licence and am so keen to ride again!
My dad just picked up a 2004 F650GS...
