Ive seen on youtube that the aussies steer clear of the stainless spokes due to them snapping after some time. makes sense as the chromium added to steel to make it stainless reduced the ultimate tensile strength ie they will be less likely to stretch and bend than normal steel ones.
if its just fpr keys cellphone wallet and smalls etc I would just get a handlebar bag
the tank is not steel so no magnetic tankbags, and the strap on ones are a pain in the arse for filling up at the petrol station.

Torn ligament on right shoulder (Hit a tree at 70KPH)
Torn ACL on Left Knee (Tree stump grabbed my boot in a corner at 100KPH+)
Compression Fracture on Right Leg just above ankle ( Hit the Footpeg in a crash at low speed with maximum g-force...

Planning a ride from KZN to JHB late April and was hoping to do Sani pass before moving up around Lesotho. Will be riding solo. I have played offroad on the plastic bikes a lot but not sure if doing this pass solo is wise... any thoughts?
