I have one, (2015 xcx) my second 800, my first one (2913) now belongs to my son. Very reliable bikes. You will wonder why you waisted you time on the other brand.

I have found that ameture is not lined up presicely, that causes the armeture axel to wedge in the bush by the brushes. That causes the brushes to burn away in the efford to turn the armeture.
Triumph SA replaced my starter free of charge. The starter at the time was R5250.00.
