I use castrol DWF and live on the coast. Been using it on my scooter that I use to go to the beach to kite so stands in wind and gets salt air on it. Still looks good. Does get a bit messy though but better than rust.
Is your suspension set to auto adjust. The other bikes you sat on might be set lower which makes it way easier to balance. I know when I have lifted someone the suspension auto adjusted to extra weight and when they got off bike was high and feels top heavy. It automatically drops after a while...
The bush has oval shape and the outer washer must fit over that if I remember correctly. The I tightened to Akra torque spec and never a problem. The fitting manual is available on the Akra website
I use Jeep sunglasses with prescription bifocal transitional lenses and they fit in goggles or adventure helmet. Look a bit big but they give you much wider vision that normal glasses. Downside is when I need new glasses got to replace two pairs.
Next day if possible if its just dust no big rush but I once left my Ktm full of mud to long and when I cleaned the swing arm was all pitted from the mud. Won't do that again.
I have choice between Giant loop Mojavi or Kriega os 6 liter bags. The Mojavi is the zip type not the latest waterproof roll bag type. (no stock of latest version ) Any thoughts?
I live on the coast and have a ten odd year old scooter that I use just to go down to the beach and I spray it with dwf all the time and it still looks good. I also have a gs 1250 and clean it regularly and also still good so it really depends how it’s been looked after. Def worth a look.
