New BMW helmet to go with the GS

The std front rim on the 1190R is made of cheese. I run a Super Enduro front rim with the original spokes and hub. Slightly narrower than std plus a tube. Has solved the problem.

For the high speed weave...also check your tyre speed rating. I am getting a weave at 180 with knobblies with a speed rating of 160.... go figure

Ek het jare se moeilikheid gehad met die voor rim totdat RAD vir my n DID Dirtstar rim gebou het. Hulle hou die hub met discs maar hulle vervang die speke (ek dink). Run n tube, en bietjie nouer as std, maar geen issues / smiley's......f.a. Dink dis dieselfde as die 950 SE Kan nie onthou wat...

Baie geluk met jou nuwe yster. Klomp veilige myle. Daai deng  gaan jy baie geniet. Ten opsigte crash bars, ek het Rumbux voor en agter. Ek het die DID dirt star rim met die ou Speke en hub (RAD het v my gedoen). Bietjie nouer wiel - dink dis die 950 SE rim. Kyk nie terug nie, maar nie super krities nie- ek sal wel voorstel dat jy met n spaar voorste tube ry net vir ingeval en dan later besluit. Sal wel nie n bike koop of ry wat...

Run a tube upfront permanently plus recently upgraded to did front rim. I understand that you can run a tube in the rear only in emergencies - but have to watch speed due to valve offset
