990 Suspension tweak \ upgrade video

Hey! Since you know your way around suspension a lot better than most, can you please comment on my valving list that I came up with from various threads around the web, some books and videos. I am ~74kg, riding alone 60/40 off-road/on-road rarely with minimum luggage (cca 10-20kg) For the...

    990 underseat cubby... dusted !

Import taxes are always a matter and responsability of the buyer. In our country that is 22% of the price on the items costing more than 22€ (~ R350) so that would be R77. Think about it like so: You cubby is a very affordable and by the looks of it, very high quality kit. If you can find a...

    990 underseat cubby... dusted !

Well, that potential depends on the shipping cost. And you have to think about importing tax also :( these two thing are usually a deal killer for ordering parts from outside EU :(

Dismantling my 990 S. Now Assembling......

I looked at unifilter before I decided to go the DIY way and copy the Meoni/Pyndon setup. Mainly because the uni-prefilter has a smaller surface than a air filter on a KTM EXC bike, so you need to clean it out more often and cleaning/oiling those foam filters is a genuine PITA. Here is my take...

Dismantling my 990 S. Now Assembling......

Since we are on topic of air-filters... Has anyone of you thought of running a pre-filter, same as a 2002 Meoni Dakar replica bike? That black pod in front of the airbox. I am guessing you guys have a lot of sand and dust in your riding areas and a pre-filter setup would be beneficial to a...

    690R Tyre Selection?

Have a look at a Mitas C-17 Dakar front and C-02 Stoneking rear tyres, I really like them in all kinds of terrain. Though I can't say how they handle in desert sand as I don't have any to try them out :D

    640 What gearing?

My friend with 620Adv and me with 640 Enduro are using 15/44 for mixed riding, from road to technical, it is a good compromise, but don't expect high top speed.

Hey all! I will need to change wheel bearings on my KLE and I need some help identifying industrial bearing numbers or size measurements for them as I will buy them at my local FAG/SKF shop and wont go with Kawasaki OEM bearings. So here are the numbers in the parts manual for the KLE...
