We've had the most amazing skies the last few nights, from freezing cold on Sunday to extremely hot today! Wakkerstroom is know for its 4 seasons in one day, and constant wind almost worse than Cape Town, so always have a jacket handy, and for the rainy mud season that's about to start, I find...

Who needs Rocomamas, completely home grown in Wakkerstroom, rolls from the Village Bakery, cheese made by Honeymoon Valley Cheese, Grasslands Butchery patties and our home grown veggies, delicious, only the tomato sauce we still have to make ourselves ;) And about the sky last night  :)

Runaway veld fires are a scary reality here this time of the year, that's the fire's reflection on our house! Luckily our neighbours came to the rescue with their water tanks, best we get flappers for next year  ;D Ok yes I was supposed to post pics of the garage completion, but hey it's not...
