Hi - Omdat ek hom uithaal wanneer die vuur brand blaas daar gas deur die gaatjies die heeltyd so hy raak nie verstop nie. En indien hy wel die gaatjie is nie so klein nie, (1,7mm) so jy kan hom met n stukke draad skoonmaak.

Jy is reg maar ek het gebruik wat by die huis gele het. Omdat jy hom uithaal na die vuur aan die brand is word hy nie baie warm nie. Die gaatjies is klein (1,5mm) so die druk van die gas hou die vlam ten minste 2 cm bo die pyp.

My first attempt was a single pipe but due to the flexible pipe that connects it to the gas bottle it was always twisting and turning the wrong way up. The duel pipe lies nice and flat. I have also made it just wide enough to fit between the two bottom pieces of wood so once the fire is going...

I like a good fire but i'm also spoilt by the ease of gas. Decided to combine the two and build my own gas powered firestarter.

I agree. I had the MBX 50. Ticket to freedom. Man i loved that feeling waking up in the morning and knowing you could ride.
