Wow what a difference, low and high speed stability greatly improved. More confidence in engine braking. All round I trust my bike more. No more squirmy rear end. Now just to replace the squared tyre and cornering may be less hairy

Well, I finally manned up, removed rear wheel and took a look at paralever slack. the lock nut wasn't even properly tight, no sign of locktite , did heat regardless. Tightened to spec and slack is nicely improved. Should hold me until my replacements are ordered. Gone from what felt like 3-4mm...
