The GS 1250 bikes cost R275k full house. There are a lot of extra's I don't want so until such time that I can spec my own bike I will not consider buying. This is an old BMW SA trick, bring all the new bikes in at highest spec then after year 1 or 2 they then allow for you to spec your own bike...

I would like to believe that I am that target market as I am on my 5th BMW bike, 1 Dakar and 4 GS's. I do hassle about the difference of R46k. The 2017 model that was sold in 2018 as a full high spec without gear shift pro etc was around R242k the last time I priced it. Now for that same spec'd...

I have been looking at some of the ride reports on YouTube for the 1250GS.  The one guys did a roll on from 30km/h to 100km/h between a 1200GSA and the ney 1250 and there was around a 4 second difference,. One could say that the GSA is quite a bit heavier say loose a second. Most of the feedback...
