As soon as the guys finish they get taken off the projection list. Peter How showed 2 days 8 hours and Roger 2 days 15 hours. Estimated. It will hopefully make more sense tomorrow. They did 2 laps of the same route today so it looked a bit haywire.

Clover leaf every 2nd day around Bivvie. Gives everybody a day to catch up without interfering with the top riders too much.

Seems there were more fuel issues. If Botswana has the same pricing structure, the fuel price drop would have caused that. Sites wanted to rather run out and buy at new price. If that was the reason then how many factors can influence a rally? :peepwall:

I was wondering if the petrol sites will have extra fuel for 60 odd bikes coming through. I see Adie also still there.

I saw a quote from Dutch rallye press on here somewhere about Alex maybe biting off a bit much. With the faster riders coming in before dark after a 10h30 start, maybe its rather some riders biting off a bit more than they can chew  :peepwall: The Amageza is very close to being a Dakar...

Not sure why Nr 8 left the tar to atke a sand shortcut. Will see if the rest follow if that is the new route for today.

That is still a lot of tar to Ghanzi. With about 256 donkeys to dodge on the way in. At least no dust.
