Maybe adjust the gear lever rod that you can see in your second picture so that the gear lever is "higher" ? I'm also tall and have big feet (14+) this helped on my old 2008 GSA.

They appear to be closed, but i could be wrong.  I have used them, but was not happy with the quality of the last batch. Parts that had no rust, just faded old plating, are now rusting badly  :(

Who do you use for the plating please? Looks like good quality.

Yes, the ceramic coating  is a liquid that is applied and then baked, it will at least partially block the CAT if you don't remove it. Jughead did a good thread on how to a while back. https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=227032.msg4103083#msg4103083

If you coat inside and out, have it de-catted first, or the coating will block the cat.

A seemingly silly question if I may, as you've already said the blade speed is too high for steel. Would that apply to thin(ish) sheet metal as well, say 1.0 to 1.6 mm?
