Without TuneEcu it can become of a bit of an expensive hit and miss.... most people instantly point you to the TPS or throttle bodies! Mine was doing similar but turned out to be the MAP sensor.... a replacement via BSR and reset adaptations/clear fault codes via TuneEcu and bike is running...

I still have 2 x oil tank quick drain hose if you interested (R650 incl Postnet). Means you can drain oil and service without removing tanks every service..... all that is required to fit is slight trimming of aluminum cover above battery on l/h side. Drop me a PM if you want anytime.

Have to agree with previous comments about price and condition of used bikes as most of these are ridden hard and live a rough life! Bought my 2011 990R for R90k but spent probably around R40k-R50k eventually sorting all the bits out that were either worn/broken or damaged.... bike is now well...

So did a static balance with some basic tools in the shop which works just fine with help from the local tyre shop supplying the weights. (y) The missus already has a Sumimoto tyre balancer on my Xmas wish-list for this year so's I can at least (try) look professional....;):cool: :ROFLMAO:

Douse the tube in silicone spray as well... the valve slips into the hole like uhm..... lets just say no effort required as the tube is easy to move inside the tyre :D
