As stated above - mud is just shitty to ride through and from experience I put my dignity and pride away so that I don't have to fall again in the mud while picking up my bike. Waddle, dab, leggy thing - I just try my best to get through cos wet boots and a muddy crack suck! I find that too...

Very Interesting - I was of the ancient school and have always let all my vehicles idle until operating temp on the first start of the day before driving/riding. The idea of starting and then riding immediately with a gentle throttle action until operating temp is reached makes klomp sense to me...
