Seriously consider the Anakee Adventures.
Look at the reviews online.
The Anakee and STR have similar performance, but the Anakee reaches twice the mileage.
I have properly thrashed my bike on track days and a cornering course and never thought about a lack of grip. I gained a lot of...
I have serviced the Tiger myself, done everything required as per the manual, except for the laptop part.
Anyone have experience with the many models of OBD2 readers available for the Triumphs?
Seems like this unit works well with the Tiger Tool software...

7 months and 20 000km later, getting a new rear fitted today before hitting some dirt on the way to Rhenosterpoort this afternoon.
Tyre has probably done 3000km of 2-up riding, including our trip to the Drakensberg last weekend.
Still have some life left, but I won't chance it on...
I love the Rocket, my next bike however will probably be a Speed Twin. I crave the torque and it looks good too (Don't get me wrong the Rocket is beautiful).
What's the Rocket like in the twisties? I'd assume the weight hinders?
I found a size chart on the Alpine Star website, will measure up tonight.
I am 1.82 and weigh 90kg, majority of the weight on nipple level ( no motherly hips here :ROFLMAO:) so jackets usually tight under the arms when zipped up.
Will confirm. (y)
My new SnapJack in action.
Arrived safely in Champaigne Valley, chain lube done.
In the mountains for the rest of the week with all the recommended kit.
Thanks for all the input and advice chaps💪

I commute with the Tiger quite regularly, sometimes reaching 1000km a week, and naively have not been concerned with a flat tyre, since help...
I don't commute daily, I do as often as the weather allows. Pretoria to Witbank.
Scariest part of my commute is the 10km through witbank after getting off of the N4. The people here have a unique driving style. Like all left turns are a go, regardless of traffic light colour or oncoming...
Good day Dogs.
I am viewing a 2013 R1200 R this coming Saturday and would like some advice from the knowledgeable about what to check for before committing?
I would much rather prefer a R1250 R, but the R100k price difference is a factor ( I am not selling the Tiger! 😁 )
32 000km on the bike...
I found a helmet that fit my fat head (63cm) - LS2 Carbon Explorer. very happy overall with the helmet, only issue so far is that the pinlock is not sealing somewhere.
