I bring a small pebble back, from just the most memorable routes. I did a few where I brought back two pebbles from each route, then gave one to a friend and challenged her to take them back. It took her two years and she loved it!

I havn’t had my 300 Rally that long but I have seen that the fuel consumption, both l/100km and total litres as reported on the dash, is way out, between 10% and 30%. Anybody else seen this?

I saw a large buffalo there last Wednesday, it got off the road pretty quickly.

I was there for the first time on Wednesday 8 January. The water crossings were lower than I expected but the erosion in some areas was more tricky than I expected. I survived, which was somewhat unexpected 😉

I ride with a Garmin inReach Mini 2. Small, expensive, not instantaneous, needs a good view of the sky, but it works and is bidirectional.

Baviaans ✅, made possible by the little red bike that makes even less-than-average riders feel sort of competent 😉 It being fairly dry helped too….

“bond with Lipstick a but more” ????? What exactly do you get up to/in to on your rides? 😳 Without disclosing the exact price, for protection of marriages on both sides, what was the ball-park cost of the upgraded spring spacer?
