Check out www.tanroads.go.tz Their website is pretty good, and their roadmap shows the tar and dirt roads. The Masaai Steppe towards Arusha in the Manyara district has a plethora of great dirt roads to ride. A lot depends on the direction you wish to ride and what bike you are on. PM me anytime.

Have just settled myself in Dundee but am yet to get onto the roads to explore, other than the obligatory family stuff by car....... Scotland is such a beautiful place despite the lack of gravel; I will get my load of gravel riding on the odd trip back to SA.
