Yes, I looked the R1100S was 1998 and the R1150GS only 1999 my error, is the “S” gearbox plug in that forward location not used on the GS?

No. The 1100 came first with the six speed gearbox. 1150 engine. The 1150 was based on that.

The "schedule 40 & 80" comes from the old steel piping tables, instead of choosing a wall thickness you choose a schedule for the system...
