    My nephew (my suster se seun) runs a small 44 hectare farm near the microlights in Babsfontein, doing Pecan nuts and some mielies. There is a wetland and and an indigenous forest which has been developed there. He has counted 136 bird species, of which Pectoral sandpiper, Dusky lark, Harlequin...

    While cleaning the garage today I saw a black spider about the size of a match box. It was the blackest one I've ever seen. Anyone know what this was and is it poisonous?

    I need to put my old printer in the recycling. It's a cheapo Canon Pixma MG2500. Do these have a memory of the stuff that's been printed and scanned?

    I had the same Mandarin colour 1150 GS. This was twenty years ago so was a lot stronger then and was able to lean the bike down onto my thigh. Only works leaning to the RHS.(y)

    Nice photos. You can lean the bike to the RHS as low as you can and then back up again. This happened to me in Nam and I made it to the next town about 20 km. This trick was told to me by the late Lenny from BMW.
