    I opened up the standard silencer, removed 2 pieces of pipe from the inside ( as per youtube) and the result was great. Sounds much better than standard, but not as loud as an open pipe.

    From a bit of research the replacement drive gear has an extra tooth, increasing the diameter and the ratio. From that the torque or spinning rate seems to the problem rather than an alignment issue. Again just speculation as Triumph is silent regarding this issue. Probably why Rick's stronger...
