- KTM 890 Adventure R Rally
This will be my journal of owning, pimping and riding the 890 RR. A bike that I’ve been lusting over for a while, but never thought I would actually own.
When a deal on a 890RR was cancelled at our local dealer, I impulsively (as always) made my decision. I put my hand up and here I am. A bit overwhelmed at the thought of using the bike like I’ve done with my 790R over the last 20 odd months.
I’ve been extremely happy with the 790 R ( https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=236746.0 ) and was 100% sure that I would never buy a RR. As an average rider I just could not justify the price tag to get a bike with premium suspension.
The bike is currently still at dealer where extras from my 790 R are being fitted to it.
Scotts damper and mount, Fastway footpegs, GPS and bracket, luggage plate MotoZ Rallz rear and Mitas E13 front are currently being moved from old bike. Also Heavy duty tubes and VPS on all plastics
