So I'm leaving in two days time for my Ben10 trip and I realised I don't have a chain lube solution yet.
I have been phoning all over Bloem and nobody sells a 200ml bottle chain wax/lube
Takealot sells them but it will not reach me in time.
Here's what I was thinking, let me know what you think.
Plan is to clean the chain once a day with tool in a can/Q20 then lube it.
1. Get a plastic bottle to put the used oil in that I usually use to lube the chain.
2. or will mtb chain dry lube work also? Benefit of these are they already come in small bottles.
or....
3. another option is to use a little diesel. I saw a video where the guy used it to clean the chain and the benefit it lubes the rubber seals as well.
