I have the Suzuki Vstrom 650 Adventure after 8 years of not riding. There is just something wrong with the Suzuki and for the life of me, I struggled to figure it out. When I had to move it around by pushing it, I struggled. When I got on it and did some slow circuits in my backyard it felt off.
I got advice that the big is too big for me but I can flatfoot it, on both sides and when I have motorbike boots on even better. When I took it out I got tremendous arm cramps and I thought it was because my hands were so small.
I almost sold it to try a smaller cc but I did not like the deal. I decided to think and thought of Einstein.

The theory of relativity: For every action, there is an equal and opposing reaction. What have I done to the bike? I lowered the seat. What happens when you lower the seat? You are further away from the handlebars. If you are too far away from the handlebars everything feels awkward. I ordered up and back. 31mm up and 22mm back.
I just finished installing it and what a tremendous difference it makes. Everything feels better. The front brake, the clutch that I struggled with, the slow turning, even manoeuvering the big.
I few centimetres can make a huge difference. The final thing I have to do is set the gear pedal so my boots fit nicely.
