Maybe one of our more tech-savvy Dogs can enlighten me.
Playing with the idea of fitting mousses on my XR. I ride solo most of the time and I hate punctures. I know lubrication is vital, and speed is not good as it leads to elevated temperatures which shorten the life of a mousse. After watching the Dakar over the past two weeks, I wonder what those speeds do to the mousse.
Yes, it is not a 400 to 800km flatout dash every day, contrary to what YT footage have you believe. The Motul Originals only take an extra set of tyres, no extra mousses. So they should last for at least the life of the tyres? What am I missing?
