Mid winter is a great time to test your cold weather kit , and hope not to freeze . Guys I suggested a bash /thing in Clarence , 130 odd views , but no takers , So decided on another angle to maybe get your juices flowing and time to commit to what can be a great weekend . 16 June is a public holiday giving us a nice long weekend . Could be cold but time to ride . Once again I would like to use Clarence as a base ( Fouriesburg could be plan b) Ride down on Thursday afternoon , book into accommodation , meet and greet .
Friday we take a ride to Katse dam , Saturday to Afri Ski , and possibly if time allows to Sani and back . ( the plan )
To make this plan come together I need You to come with , and remember numbers gives one a possible chance to negotiate better rates .
I for one like nice accommodation with a bathroom on suite , not keen to rough it , been there and done it , but that does not mean we cant try and accommodate everybody with best options .
I could arrange all the accommodation , or you make your own plans , just let me know .
I have thought of asking for a R200.00 BOOKING fee , that will fix your place on the trip , fee will be returned in the form of a goody bag, so you wont be paying for something and receive nothing .
I Have experience with the butcher in Clarence , to arrange a spitbraai for the Saturday night . depending on the numbers , this idea and cost will be shared later .
So for now lets see hands of whom is keen to join .
PS If you have never been to Katse and or Afriski , the road there is jus phenomenal, specially if you enjoy corners.
PPS , REMENBER YOU WILL NEED A PASSPORT TO GO INTO LESHOTO . will post border requirements closer to the time , for now need to judge interest.
