Chain lube comes in many options , and we also know some are better than others , PROBLEM ! is they all seem to fling off , and make a mess on the rim ands a pita to clean . Saw a tech video and they suggest to lube the night before you ride and not just before .
With this in mind i did a little test for myself , I use Spanjaard chain spray . Sprayed some on a piece of paper yesterday morning and left it there for day , when I got home I checked my experiment and they lube was all sticky with the propellant evaporated .
Now I dont for one minute believe there will be no fling off , as when the chain gets hot , I am sure some will still mess up the rim , but might just be a lot less .
