I bought this bike (on all accounts, my dream bike) in July 2016 with a total of 34,000 km on the clock. I have spent more on this bike than I paid for it in 2016. I am not going to make a long list of all the modifications, but it has been in its current form since 2020.
The bike has been repainted, yes, from the traditional Silver ADV color to pearl white. I had it serviced a number of times but did not keep track and keep all the paperwork. I would, without any hesitation, get on it now and ride it to Cape Town. If you do the calculations, I have added an average of 2000km per year to it; in the last 18 months, it has only done about 350km. Life sucks.
I know it's an old bike, and I know its value drops with the years, but I would like R65k for it. The papers are in order and in my name. if you have any questions, reply to the post or message me.
