Seems that the battery from my Garmin Montana is dead
The GPS works in the cradle on the bike but switches off immediately when th bike is switched off. Any idea where I can find a replacement quickly, I need it for the Tankwa Rally. Can I just put normal AA batteries in the unit and put it in the charging cradle or will I damage the GPS or the AA's? Is there somebody closeby to me (Blouberg,Cape Town) who has a Montana with a working battery? Would like to try if it is really the battery and not something else. Cheers Lars 084 3829505
