Lovely to be here. I've never really been into motorcycles. Sure they were cool in Tron (1982) and I love watching Tom Cruise drive. But as a kid I played MotoGP on our windows 98 or something, and the thing i liked the most about that was causing pileups
But seriously, what got me into wanting to own my first bike? I guess having to go overseas, needing a licence for that and having a couple of friends with bikes kind of helped me make up my mind that I do want a bike. Maybe driving my bicycle to work also helped a bit
but owning and using a dual sport just seems like it makes so much sense. I could drive wherever I want, take some small camping stuff and my camera and just enjoy the weekend.
Currently casually looking for a Honda CRF300L, and wondering if anyone around Cape Town knows where I could potentially rent bikes for some trails? Just to get my feet wet and maybe try a couple of different bikes?
