I know the market is slow but lets see what happens. I’m selling this KLR 250 which I have owned for about 7 months going over the bike and doing a couple of trips inbetween to make sure there are no major issues with it. I have put about 2000km on it.
11300km on the clock
New rear tyre
New tube in back
Front tyre 50%
New DID X-ring chain
New JT and PBR sprockets front and rear
New battery
Oil & oil filter when I bought it
Renthal ATV bar
TAG grips
DRC mirrors
China Cycra wrap around with genuine Cycra shields
Headlight protector
USB charger
DIY Uni filter
Valve clearance was also checked when I bought it, did not need adjusting
Brakes front and rear still good, lots of material on drum left
Kickstart only ! No happy button
Paperwork in my name all in place
Get on and go the bike is in very good condition. Nothing to do on it now unless you are picky.
Ride it on some Ben10 routes and it went perfectly. Some parts I removed goes with sale, pillion pegs, carb de-icing kit etc. Bike is in Pta
Honesty section :
When I serviced it I saw it had a helicoil insert on the sump plug but I have never had leaks
If the bike stands for a week or so the clutch plates tend to stick. I just put it in N and rev it a bit and its fine, only does this on the first start up and afterwards no issues
The bike was red originally (that 650 colour), the PO sprayed it black but must say he did a pretty good job
Price R18500. There is not much one can get for that price that is sorted. I’m not making any money on this sale so pretty set on this price. I’m sure any motorcyclist knows what the costs are just to replace chain and sprockets !
