it's finally arrived in SA too. R50000 discount on a KTM 1290. Years of arrogance and poor management and utter contemp for their customers have led to the inevitable. once great bikes with now pathetic resale value. who in the right mind would buy one? I had 500, 701, 790 and 890. Loved them all but it's like having a wife cheat on you can you ever trust them again? if you want a bargain that you will keep forever and are a good mechanic go ahead. in UK almost every bike is on a 15% deal some more. really sad that arrogance and zero respect for loyal customers achieved the inevitable.
